Chyna is no stranger to controversy. From her days in the WWE, her Playboy pictorial, and now her new found adult film career, she is used to people talking about her life. Recently Chyna's name has been linked to a sordid rumor of escorting. A number of mainstream media sites have rushed to judgement, almost none have stopped to ask the most important person: Chyna herself.

Chyna was nice enough to take time out of her incredibly busy schedule to definitely answer the rumors about escorting, talk of her doing one more match in the WWE, and what's next in her adult film career with Vivid.

Steve Gustafson: Hi Chyna! Thank you for taking time to do this interview. I know you have a busy schedule so feel free to be as brief or as along as you are comfortable. Feel free to add or promote anything you'd like!

Chyna: Backdoor to Chyna is available at www.vivid.com and at many retail stores as well. I welcome fans bringing DVDs for me to sign at all my appearances and venues.

Steve Gustafson: No doubt many people reading this already have it! I wanted to start with the all of these "escorting" rumors that have popped up and spread across the internet. Once and for all, is there any truth to these?

Chyna: No. I am not an escort. I do and always have done many appearances. I think just now that I have some "sexier" pics circulating and it gives the impression that I am. I am booked almost every weekend feature dancing, appearing, and doing media and shows. I have been gone from home for the last three weeks and not slowing down any. I also just finished my second movie with Vivid which is going to be a classic!

Steve Gustafson: Good to have that cleared up. From your point of view, how did this non-story of "escorting" begin?

Chyna: I mean, I've heard so many rumors over the course of my career. I think it's someone or a group of people that try to degrade or defame me or sell some mags! Let's face it, I have always been quite a topic of discussion out there. My career has always been about my body also. I'm proud of my body, I love my work, I love doing movies with Vivid, the top adult company in the world! I have nothing to be unhappy about right now. I do think it is safe to say that human nature sometimes assumes the most negative to what they may not understand at first glance and appearance. It's hard to tell a person's life story and I think people are confused about what I'm doing right now. My career has taken off in such a huge other direction!

Steve Gustafson: Unfortunately it has become common for websites to hear a rumor and rush to print it before actually verifying it. What was your reaction when you heard/read that you were charging $20,000 for a weekend in Vegas?

Chyna: Well, it didn't surprise me because I do! That would be pursuant to what I would charge to host a club and it depends on where and how much work I have to do. I have also made appearances at many high price fitness clubs and the big licensing store chains.

Steve Gustafson: Of course battling news that isn't true is nothing new for you. Working in the wrestling industry for as long as you did, your name was mentioned numerous times in the dirt sheets. Now that you are working in the adult film industry, what are the biggest differences in how fans react to you?

Chyna: Fans in the dirt sheets are always looking for a topic and I'm fairly controversial. I never really did interviews because I think many of them are really hurtful and mean, especially when someone is just doing a job like a professional athlete. I never really read them, I still don't. You have to give respect to get it. If you don't give me mine after all the years I've earned it, then you don't get mine, or my time, or my smile. My fans really haven't changed. Mine is an inspirational story and whether you agree with what I'm doing or not, you have to respect my choice. I was treated brutally for way too long, being healthy and happy is something that you can't fake. I had to make changes to start my life anew and I did that. What I didn't realize is how much my fan base would expand and how supportive they would be.

Steve Gustafson: If you don't mind, can you talk about what inspired you to make the transition into the adult film industry?

Chyna: After I had the highest grossing Playboy cover of all time, it changed my life as far as how I and the world viewed me. I always heard about Vivid and would see billboards and posters in Hollywood and calendars in the bookstores of the Vivid Girls. I would think, "These girls are really beautiful and confident.! Even though I had, still haven't, ever watched a porn movie. I knew Vivid as the "Playboy of Porn". Of course I love, love, love to do movies! It's my passion in life, so mix the wrestling with all the Playboy success and I got Vivid! That turned out to be the best move in all ways. It has taken all the elements of my career and put them together. Who gets to be that lucky?

Steve Gustafson: Very few! Now, we met briefly at Exxxotica this past year and I noticed that your line was consistently the longest one there. How was your experience at the expo?

Chyna: I was overwhelmed! The fans came out in droves to support me! Outside the building, inside long, long lines, outside the venues, hotels. It was crazy! Not since my wrestling days have I seen it like that. But now it's more, more than just all I have accomplished. Out of all the fans and interviews hardly anyone even talked about the wrestling. I did tons of media and I was very honest and open about what really happened, and it's obvious people are supporting me for that decision now.

Steve Gustafson: Amazing! I've heard rumors that you've been thinking about touring as a feature dancer. Any truth to this?

Chyna: Yes, I have been doing appearances and feature dancing and, well, I never thought I'd be doing this, but it's kind of a reward for me to do that and have fun and make money while getting out there to all the fans. It's also fun because I'm new dynamics to the clubs and everyone is having fun! That's all that really matters.

Steve Gustafson: Very cool. I wanted to ask how your experience was making Vivid Video's "Backdoor To Chyna"?

Chyna: It was an awkward experience physically. Now I know why the "big boys" of porn are *AHEM* special! As soon as I start a movie I never want them to end. Each is very unique and unforgettable experience. Backdoor to Chyna was one of my most glamorous movies. The set was pure Hollywood and I felt like a beautiful superstar. I even loved the colors, the settings, and my outfits. The girls were super feminine and the boys really made me feel comfortable. I know once we finished shooting that this was going to be a big hit and yet change my life again. It has!

Steve Gustafson: Wow! How was it working with an industry legend like Evan Stone?

Chyna: Wow! He's really a legend! But he makes it really sexy and fun to work with! I don't know how he does this for hours but I've never seen a wrestler with his moves and stamina! He's a tough act to follow, but there is definitely a charm and a charisma beyond just the physical, that the major names have.

Steve Gustafson: I always hear good things about Evan. What are your plans in terms of future videos?

Chyna: I've just completed a second movie for Vivid and I'm quite sure that you may want to interview me again in 2012 when it's released!

Steve Gustafson: Of course, of course! You'll definitely be hearing from me! Recently you spoke about how you never officially retired from the wrestling industry that got the websites excited with "fantasy match making". Have you given any thought to who you would like to wrestle?

Chyna: Hmm. Unfortunately I don't even know what you are referring to.

Steve Gustafson: As I expected, another internet rumor that was started and never verified. Do you stay in touch with anyone in the wrestling industry? Do you still watch WWE?

Chyna: No. They don't call and they don't write.

Steve Gustafson: That's that then. Looks like that chapter is closed. You've had a pretty wild 2011. What can we expect from Chyna in 2012?

Chyna: 2011 was life changing for me and couldn't have come any sooner. For 2012, I plan on lots of work, lots of living, taking vacations, being with friends, and some travel. My trips are different now. People are excited to have me and they wine and dine me and I usually end up at people's homes and have little adventures. If I get to stay in one place for more than a night. If you asked, would I ever go through all of this again, I say no chance in hell with the wrestling, but I sure am glad I've never quit and just kept persevering because I am starting to enjoy some really nice things in life that I have never experienced before. I know this will be a great year.

Steve Gustafson: Absolutely! Chyna, thank you again! I appreciate your time and hope you have a great finish to 2011! All the best!

Chyna, formerly known as Joanie Laurer, is working to reclaim her life. She talked to Patch about her adult films, wrestling and life.

Right before Joanie Laurer stepped onto the stage at Déjà Vu Erotic Ultra Lounge, I had to look away.

That’s not like me. After 20 years in the reporting business, I’ve been to a few gentlemen’s clubs to do stories.

But on Thursday, I watched Laurer -- someone I have long admired -- step onto a strip club stage. And for me it was tough. In a split second, the warm-hearted woman transformed into Chyna, the sexy adult film actress and vamp.

And yes, I mean that Chyna, the former female wrestler who broke down barriers for women in wrestling.

On Thursday night, as I watched from inside the packed club, tears welled in my eyes.

“How long Joe?” I asked the Déjà Vu club manager, Joe Juarez.

“Three more songs,” he answered calmly. “Maybe 10 minutes.”

If it isn’t already clear, on this subject, color me partial. I am a fan not just of Chyna the wrestler, but of a woman who did what all women are told we could not or should not do.

Women don’t wrestle men. She did. Women weren’t supposed to win championship titles. In an odd twist of fate, she did. Women in wrestling had to conform to a certain form of femininity. Chyna – now her legal name - stepped right over those boundaries.

It seemed what she got in return was criticism and ridicule. And she was used and then left behind. The media and the Internet have not always been kind to Chyna, documenting her addictions, the domestic abuse and critiquing her appearance.

On Thursday night, I cautiously walked into the small dressing room in the Redlands club and was greeted with the same warm smile and a look of vulnerability.

“Are you going to hate on me?” she asked.

“No,” I said. “I’m a fan.”

We had only 20 minutes to talk. We spoke about her new video, “Back Door to Chyna.” The title sounds suggestive because it is an adult film. She’s proud of the film and proud of her work.

Making the film was her choice, she said. Not so with a prior sex video.

“Something really violent happened to me,” Chyna said. “I had an ex who did a sex tape video of me.”

“I’m embarrassed to say it, but you can see the scars from it,” she said extending her long arms to reveal scars, a result of self-cutting. “I was really traumatized about it. It was someone making millions of dollars off of me. I tried to hide my head in the sand. I didn’t know what to do.”

Five years later, she said Steven Hirsch, president of Vivid Entertainment, called her.

“He asked ‘Chyna do you want to do a celebrity video?’ ” she said. “I said ‘no, no.’ But I was dating this guy. And that guy called Steven back and said, ‘Yeah, she does want to do one.’ ”

She explained she was kind of comatose at the time, though we did not have time for her to elaborate the point. Shortly after the initial contact with Hirsch, she ended her relationship, but still got a call from Hirsch, she said.

She’d already done Playboy, the first appearance becoming one of the magazine’s best selling issues of all time. She saw Vivid as a legitimate adult media company.

“Having sex on camera for me,” she said with a slight pause, “I thought it would be safe and sexy environment where I would be taken care of. I’d be paid well and taken care of. So why wouldn’t I do it?”

Intimacy in her personal life had pretty much stopped because, “I was much too traumatized,” she said.

As I listened, I realized that, while money was a motivator for going into porn, she was also looking for love and respect. She told me that while she was a part of the WWF (now known as the WWE) she achieved a great deal.

Now that she is entering the world of adult film, she wants to be the biggest star since Jenna Jameson.

She said she watched the respect she had earned as a wrestler dissipate. She was hurt by Vince McMahon, who she said yanked the name Chyna away from her. It took her years and a lot of money to reclaim it, she said. It’s been difficult to watch a stream of former wrestlers, from Bret Hart to Hulk Hogan, come walking back into the ring, she said.

“But you don’t want me back? Really?” she said. “It hurt me, you know. Because we all want to be a part of this family for life.”

She said she was not sure where she would be right now if Hirsch had not rescued her.

As we wound down our conversation, her chaperone came in to let her know it was almost time to take the stage. In typical Chyna fashion, she offered to take a photo with me, an offer I readily accepted.

I wished her well and took my place in the packed room. As the announcer built up the suspense of Chyna’s arrival on stage, I felt the tears. I had such a death grip on my messenger bag that I hurt two of my fingers.

All I could think is, please God, just let them all accept her tonight. And that’s when I turned to Joe.

She did great. Did she dance like the others? No. But she did great. In typical Chyna fashion, she cavorted, gave ladies and men alike memorable hugs. She spent as much time as she could with every fan.

And they loved her for it.

TheCelebrityCafe.com: How are you going to ring in the New Year? Are you going to spend it with anyone special?

Chyna: I will be ringing in the New Year at VIVID's New Year’s Eve party at Ecco Ultra Lounge in Hollywood. My closest friends will be with me. I can't wait to celebrate and dance my butt off.

Chyna: This is a huge year for me. I am in the Holiday spirit and excited for this whole new chapter. What’s in store in 2012 is a lot of work and travel and seeing all my friends all over the country. I wish for health wealth and happiness for everyone. This year is taking me and my career to a whole new level.

Chyna: I am quite happy right now, so my resolution is to keep this positive vibe going and reach for the stars.

TheCelebrityCafe.com: According to the Mayan calendar the world is supposed to end in 2012. What's one thing you'd like to do before the apocalypse?

Chyna: I have done so many things! I figure if the world ends I am definitely going out with a bang!

TheCelebrityCafe.com: What has your first year with VIVID been like?

Chyna: VIVID is the most amazing company I have ever worked for. I am treated like a princess! My passion is film. Right now I get to do what I love! I am truly blessed as mine is really an inspirational story. Working for VIVID has liberated me, empowered me and gives yet another way to spread my message. The sex part of it has given me a confidence that I never had before.

Chyna: In the wrestling world, as long as people keep me in their hearts, then I will never truly be retired from wrestling. If the opportunity arose to step back in the squared circle, I think I have one more match in me.

The former professional wrestler turned adult film actress paid a visit to Redlands to perform, much to the delight of wrestling fans. Redlands welcomed a celebrity on Thursday night,.

She was welcomed in the discreet way that the adult industry is accustomed to. But judging from the number of people packed inside the Déjà vu Erotic Ultra Lounge, it was no secret that former WWE wrestler Chyna was in town.

It was odd even for some of the patrons of the club to see a personality who loomed so large in a wrestling ring. Thursday night’s stage was a bit smaller. But Chyna, formerly known as Joanie Laurer, still had that stage presence.

“Oh nerves,” Chyna said as she sat her dressing room. “This is only my seventh show.”

The former professional wrestler, who once held the title of WWE Intercontinental Champion, performed at the topless bar Thursday night in part to promote an adult film she recently completed and also because it has become a part of her career change from being a professional athlete to adult film actress.

“I wasn’t surprised that we got her to perform here,” said Tawnia Brower, head of marketing and promotions for Déjà Vu. “From knowing her history, it was a surprise that this was the path she’s taking in life.”

“But we are very excited to have her,” Brower said.

The crowd was too. It was evident the fans came to see the wrestler as much as they came to see the striptease.

"It is Chyna the wrestler," said one young woman. It seemed almost surreal to her. "I wasn't sure. Wow."

It’s not unusual for special nights to draw in a big crowd. Not only was the business’ small lot full, the street was lined with cars.

“We were getting some good reaction,” said Joe Juarez, manager of the Déjà Vu. “We got lucky that we got her She’s a big name coming into Redlands because she was a pro wrestler.”

The Redlands club has attracted a few big names. In 2003, when it briefly became a part of the Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club chain, Flynt himself made an appearance.

The muscle bound former pro wrestler turned herself into a world wide household name thanks to her ability to beat the crap out of steroid enhanced males 3 times her size. Unfortunately, Chyna's story didn't end there, but it does end happy. And I mean really happy... if you get my drift. A best selling author who has graced the cover of Playboy twice, starred on numerous reality television shows, including "The Surreal Life" and "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew," Chyna's career low was when she was booted from the WWE by Vince McMahon. The banishment was sparked by an affair between her then boyfriend Triple H and the bosses' daughter. An emotional meltdown was followed after a sex tape was released on the internet. I recently sat down with the wrestling icon to discuss her past and what twist of fate led her to become the new "It" girl for Vivid Video.

CHAUNCE HAYDEN: CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT YOUR YEARS WERE LIKE WITH THE WWE?
Chyna: The years with the WWE were wonderful in the scene that it helped me build my foundation. I always knew I had to be in some form of entertainment. It was always in my blood. From day one it was so natural for me and it just took off.
It paved the way for me. But now that I look back at what my body has been through and how I had to fight to get my wrestling name back, how aggressive and violent that whole scene was. It messed so much with my psyche.

CHAUNCE HAYDEN: WHAT MADE YOU DECIDE TO CHANGE CAREERS AND GET INTO ADULT FILM MAKING OF ALL THINGS?
Chyna: Not a lot of people questioned me about it. But some people do ask why I'm doing it.

CHAUNCE HAYDEN: AND?
Chyna: I say to them, "Are you serious? What do you mean why am I doing this?" I've been treading water for 12 years now.
So I got this big opportunity and it treats me well and puts some money in my pocket instead of somebody else's for once. I look healthy and I feel healthy.

CHAUNCE HAYDEN: I have many questions about your new career choice. But first, lets talk more about wrestling and what it did to you body. Are you in constant pain like so many wrestlers who are retired from the ring now?
Chyna: Yes! I've broken every bone in my body. I've always been admired for my body and my body has made me who I am today. But regardless of how you look at it I was dancing around the ring with guys who were twice my height and size. That took a big toll on my body. There would be days I would cry on the floor with a broken hip or broken back and not know what to do about it.
I wasn't taken care of health wise. I had to do it myself. So I discovered yoga and acupuncture, hoping my body would recover. And it has. It changed my body.

CHAUNCE HAYDEN:DID YOU EVER TAKE STEROIDS?
Chyna: Luckily I did not. I think that's because I started off as this killer monster. I knew I wasn't the most conveniently pretty woman anyway. But that was my role and I did it well. So right off the bat people were asking me if I took steroids. I didn't even know what they were talking about. I was called ugly so many times. I was used to it. But steroids were a very dark world. It scared me. I knew about it very early on and decided to look the other way. I knew some people had to do them and I didn't judge. But I also didn't want to be a part of that world. I knew I was ugly but inside I was a very feminine woman. Steroids are a lifetime choice that few come back from.

CHAUNCE HAYDEN: YOU SAY YOU'RE UGLY BUT YOU HAVE ALSO BEEN IN PLAYBOY. DOESN'T THAT MAKE YOU A SEX SYMBOL?
Chyna: That's the thing. The WWE were going in a different direction with my character. But when Playboy offered me the chance to be in the magazine,
the feminine side of me jumped at the chance. I didn't want to be know as Chyna the wrestler. I wanted a chance to show my sex side. I didn't want to be known as
"if she a man or is she a woman" killer. It was great for Chyna the character, but I had to live a life outside of that. Right? So when Playboy came along I said, "yes". I wanted to feel pretty and it did make me feel pretty. It changed everything for me.

CHAUNCE HAYDEN: What was your greatest moment in the ring?
Chyna: Wow. Just being in the ring and fighting with the guys was such a big thing. I didn't know anything about wrestling at first. I just wanted to be on TV.
I thought I was going to be the female terminator or like this James Bond girl. I ended up being discovered by Shawn Micheals, Triple H and Steve Austin outside a hotel room one night. They said come down and show the powers that be your fitness book and your modeling pictures. So I did and the next thing you know they paired me up with Hunter [Triple H] and the rest is history.

CHAUNCE HAYDEN:YOU AND HUNTER BECAME A COUPLE. BUT THAT HISTORY WASN'T THE BEST FOR YOU
Chyna: The problem was that wrestling didn't take care of me. After the affair happened between Hunter and Stephanie McMahon they dropped me and that was the end. They didn't just let me go, they also took my name. They took everything they could.

CHAUNCE HAYDEN: WHY DID VINCE MCCMAHON HOLD HUNTER'S RELATIONSHIP WITH HIS DAUGHTER AGAINST YOU?
Chyna: You would have to ask Stephanie or Vince McMahon himself. But I was never like, "Look what they did to me!" I was a lady and I just stepped aside. I said nothing while I went through so many years all on my own. Literally, on my own.

CHAUNCE HAYDEN: WHY DIDN'T YOU SPEAK OUT?
Chyna: How do you fight a billion dollar company alone? You can't. So I waited it out and I did Playboy again. This time Hef let me do it with my real name, Joanie Laurer. That really was the thing that allowed me to start again.
There were so many emotional things going on behind the scenes that I can never talk about. So I just tried to keep my head up and do reality shows here and there.

CHAUNCE HAYDEN: "THE SURREAL LIFE" WAS ON AND WHO COULD FORGET YOU ON "CELEBRITY REHAB"?
Chyna: Also "Celebrity Fear Factor" among others. But those were really small jobs in the grand scheme of things.

CHAUNCE HAYDEN: IS IT TRUE YOU NEVER REALLY HAD A PROBLEM WITH ADDICTION AND THAT YOU ONLY DID "CELEBRITY REHAB" FOR THE MONEY? TRUE OR FALSE?
Chyna: For the gig and also because of the men in my life had been so abusive and on every kind of drug you can imagine. I never saw anything like it.
So I did the show to learn some tools to deal with the situation.

CHAUNCE HAYDEN: WHICH BOYFRIEND ARE WE TALKING ABOUT?
Chyna: That was when I was with Sean Waltman. But he doesn't even deserved to be mentioned anymore. But looking back I wouldn't have done "Celebrity Rehab" because it put me right back in the situation where I was dealing with the kind of people I didn't want to be around anymore. Plus I wasn't able to talk about the real issues that were upsetting me, like a guy selling an illegal sex tape of me and butting a butcher knife to my throat. I wasn't allowed to say that stuff.
So it was hard for me. The show didn't hurt me, but it didn't help me.

CHAUNCE HAYDEN: LETS TALK ABOUT THE SEX TAPE. HOW DID IT IMPACT YOUR LIFE?
Chyna: It was the most violating disgusting and humiliating experience that has ever happened to me in my life. If you check Wikipedia, which I hate to do, it even says the sex tape was backed by the WWE and TNA, which makes it even worse.
What else could they do to me? I was almost 10 feet under. I almost really was. I can't believe I was driven to that point. It makes me very sad. I did try and hurt myself. I ended up in the hospital and it was the best thing that ever happened to me. That was actually good for me. It was the kind of help that really addressed my issues. I was like, "Oh my God, they're letting me talk about my issues." I was really crazy in the hospital. But I'm glad they put me there. It helped make me sane again.

CHAUNCE HAYDEN: IT'S AMAZING YOU BOUNDED BACK AND CAN TALK ABOUT IT TODAY.
Chyna: It really is. Even after the hospital when I started to feel better, I reached out to Vince McMahon because they have a wellness program for ex-wrestlers and their families. I ask him if he would help me pay for the medical bills that it took for me to get better. He never responded.

CHAUNCE HAYDEN: So here's the million-dollar question: How did you end up doing porn?
Chyna: I was dating another real jerk who made a phone call to the president of Vivid Video, Steven Hirsch. He knew how much money the sex tape made and so he tried to do the same thing to me that happened the last time. He said he had pictures and tapes and was prepared to sell them. So I booted him out the door and a week later Steven Hirsch called me and offered me a deal. So I said, "Okay, let's talk." If it wasn't Vivid I would have been scared, but I consider them the Playboy of adult videos. It changed my life. I'm back in the gym everyday and I almost lost ten pounds.

CHAUNCE HAYDEN: WAS IT HARD FOR YOU TO HAVE SEX ON CAMERA OR DO YOU SEE IT THE SAME AS WRESTLING? A PERFORMANCE IS A PERFORMANCE.
Chyna: I would agree with that. Plus I haven't had sex since my last abusive relationship. So I looked at making porn as therapy in a way. It got me back into having a sexual life and not being scared of it.

CHAUNCE HAYDEN: SO WILL THERE BE ANOTHER ADULT FILM IN YOUR FUTURE?
Chyna Absolutely! The next one will be wrestling related.

CHAUNCE HAYDEN: CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG, BUT DON'T GUYS PAY HUGE SUMS OF MONEY FOR THE CHANCE TO WRESTLE YOU IN PRIVATE?
Chyna: Yeah! I'm just realizing all that stuff now and I love it! But here's the thing, I'm a really good girl. I'm pretty straight lace and I love to work hard.
However, whenever people want to play around and have me put them in a headlock it always starts out silly, but then it ends up with me body slamming them and people don't expect that to happen.

CHAUNCE HAYDEN: DO THEY DIE?
Chyna: (Laughs) No! They usually end up belly laughing and it makes me laugh as well. It makes me happy.

CHAUNCE HAYDEN: DO YOU STILL SING?
Chyna: I loved it and I tried it. But I've learned I'm definitely not a singer. I'll leave that for the pros. (Laughs)

CHAUNCE HAYDEN: IF YOU WERE TRAPPED IN AN ELEVATOR WITH VINCE MCMAHON WHAT WOULD YOU SAY TO HIM?
Chyna: Gosh, I don't even know what to say to him. I can't understand how a man can treat an innocent, hard working woman so badly. I was considered his family at one time. I just don't understand it.

CHAUNCE HAYDEN: BUT HE DID GIVE YOU BACK THE NAME CHYNA DIDN'T HE?
Chyna: No! He didn't. I went to court and fought for it for 7 years. I won my name back.

CHAUNCE HAYDEN: FINALLY, HAS ULTIMATE FIGHTING TAKEN THE STEAM OUT OF THE WWE AS FAR AS YOU ARE CONCERNED?
Chyna: I think it has. When I was with the WWE it was what I consider the golden ear. Plus I paved the way for all of the divas there. I was part of a group that made Vince's company go from 50 folding chairs at a high school cafeteria to ringing the stock market bell. I was there during all of that. But it's not the same anymore. Of course I'm bias, but I think the WWE lacks a lot in luster now and a lot of character. "

CHYNA (C): Rochester, NY or as I call it KODAK COUNTRY.

PM: What are your current measurements?
C: 42/28/37

PM: What made you decide to make a transition from being a World Wide Wrestling Icon to becoming an adult star?
C: It wasn’t a transition. I was a fitness competitor (not a bodybuilder) before wrestling, and during and after have quite an impressive resume. It’s part of an evolution.

PM: Do you have any adult stars that you speak to and have a great relationship with? If so, who?
C: I love the boys and girls in my movie “Backdoor To Chyna.” They made it really fun, especially for my first time and I was super excited. A little nervous at first, sometimes I forget that I’m a star!!! So when people are really excited to work with me, see me, support me with great respect!….it never gets old. There is a point in your career where you realize your accomplishments and nobody can take that away from you! Doing porn after all I’ve accomplished is by choice. And a damn good one!

PM: When did you fully decide to make this move?
C: I love doing movies, I love the camera, I loved doing PLAYBOY, and it was so successful that I really wanted combine both and do sexy movies too!!! I’m not picking one over the other, although…I intend to do as much work with VIVID as I’m able because I am happiest when I’m working!!! Being able to do movies, go out and feature dance etc out with the fans again, make some money and be a big part of an incredible company like VIVID is an incredible opportunity!!! I am a big name, I’ve worked hard in everything I’ve done. I don’t take anything for granted and I feel very very lucky right now.

PM: Are there any adult stars that you would like to work with in the future?
C: I had never watched a porn before doing “Backdoor to Chyna.” I still haven’t yet, because I want that real genuine reaction from me, like I am in reality tv. I think a Bachelorette type of show, with the sex included would be an interesting show, don’t you? My favorite tv is reality celebrity shows because I like all the quirky characters together. In porn it’s all about visual art and your particular interest in someone as a fan, right?I hope to work with Dylan Ryder and Diana Prince again because we think of ourselves as some naughty Charlie’s angels. I’m just starting so now I’m drooling over all the people I’ll be working with. Pornstars are so beautiful!

PM: Are there any celebrities outside the industry that you would like to work with? If so, who?
C: Work with? Mainstream, I feel there is so much untapped potential with me to do something quite dramatic and Noir. I understand I am an ecclectic person, I don’t know what’s next for me either, but I know I have talent and you never stop learning from people! Mainstream movies are getting sexier and sexier!! I’d love to take mainstream a step further with some hot action. On the porn side, I decided that I am going to explore my sexuality to the fullest and just enjoy it!

PM: How much has wrestling at such a high level helped/hurt you as an adult star?
C: Well, as I said I have a resume that would knock your clothes off!!! I rose to stardom in wrestling, but no matter what I do, I want to be the best and I think you just grow and grow. I don’t judge..including myself!! I have always believed to go for whatever you want to do. Doing porn just makes me that more knowledgeable and experienced as an entertainer! Also, when you start to make fans, the true ones will follow you always in whatever you do, and I think that with people like that as my fans, I pick a direction and jump in both feet!!!!

PM: Now that you are no longer a wrestler. Are there any people that you feel like you would’ve rather not had a relationship with?
C: Doesn’t everybody have that? Yep, I had some very abusive traumatizing relationships, they don’t deserve mention. Moved on with my life, having the time of my life right now and that includes the sex and the confidence of being with VIVID, which has changed me dramatically for the better since the movie and my dealings with Mr. Hirsch.

PM: Who are some of the wrestlers that you keep in contact with to this day?
C: Billy Gunn, Hog and Finneas, Mick Foley, Kevin Nash, Gangrel, Rikishi, D'Lo,Dallas Page, Raven, Mr. Inoki, Fujita, etc etc..many have passed on.Some of the girls I’m meeting fist time and they are adorable! I know the boys that I was with everyday love me as much as I love them. We don’t talk everyday, but I know they’re watching and just want to see me happy. It has been a while since I started to travel again. I am sure that I will be seeing more of my pals now that I’m out and about.

PM: How did you get together with Vivid to put together your first film?
C: We had crossed paths in the past and I never would have considered doing porn, but as a girl you always want to be beautiful and even though I didn’t know anything about porn I knew VIVID. The girls on Sunset Blvd Billboards, posters etc I used to stare at them thinking how beautiful they are. I used to buy the calendars in the book stores just to look at their makeup. It’s strange, that’s how the PLAYBOY thing happened. I never thought I would be doing porn. I certainly didn’t think that I could ever be as beautiful as the VIVID girls, however I know I have fans. There was a tape out there with me in it. It was something done to me, again not worth mentioning. It was such a vile experience to me that it took me a decade to start to live life again. I lived in shame and violation for too long. So I decided to go to Steven and ask for his help. I do movies!! I am a champion, I am a success. So, I went to the best studio to show my fans that I will do a porn and it’s going to be beautiful, and sexy, and I’m going to be treated like a Star, and a lady. PLAYBOY did it for me the first time, now, this is going to be a new era in porn I believe as far as new stardom is concerned. It really is taking all of the elements I’ve done, and putting them all together.

PM: Are there any people that gave you negative feedback when you expressed making this decision? (if you want to mention them you can) What do you have to say to them?
C: No response! I don’t spend my time looking for that. I am happy, and as long as VIVID is happy and fans like it cause it’s fun and sexy? Really this has been an overwhelmingly wonderful experience.

PM: What would your ideal career be when you decide to leave the adult world? How would you like to be remembered?
C: I’ve never just done one thing. It all blends together. I’ve proven my accomplishments. You just never know where life is going to take you.

PM: Do you keep in contact with Triple H (Paul Michael Levesque)?
C: Nope.

PM: Give us a bit of a background about your breast. It’s said that you have some specially made breasts, is this true?
C: I did have especially big breasts. I suppose in wrestling I was trying to look bigger, be bigger, hit harder…and well, with some spraytan, lots of food, tons of exercise and some enormous breasts I could go to work kicking some ass!! Now I am am much trimmer, lot’s of yoga, downsized the breasts and feel really good in my skin right now. I am not being thrown around by these huge guys, so I focus more on yoga, dance, intense sex, ….it’s much kinder to my body and I feel healthy.

PM: What are some of the myths that you would like to clear up?
C: Myths? Anymore, and I’d be inside out. I think I’ve shared quite a bit of myself. No myths, I’m me, there’s only one, I’ve done the work. I don’t have anything to “clear up” I’m beyond good with me and very proud of myself and with the incredible support that I have outside of the wrestling business. I do have some awesome people supporting me! People that I have so much respect for.

PM: You mentioned that you “made sure that the sex is as wicked as it can be” which we’re sure fans are excited about. Is there any anal, threesomes and/or dominatrix scenes.

The last time I saw Chyna doing an interview was on Michael Moody’s infamous 101 Reasons Not To Be A Pro Wrestler documentary, and there has certainly been a marked change since then.

With Sean Oliver once again ably posing the questions sent by you, the fans, Chyna came across as someone who has found peace in her life. With her addiction problems a part of her past she seemed extremely confident and willing to answer anything that was asked of her.

No topic was taboo here, from her beginnings in the wrestling business, her tremendous run in the WWF, becoming the first (and so far only) woman to have held the Intercontinental title through to her controversial departure, they're all here.

Her personal life is also discussed in great detail, especially her relationships with Triple H and Sean Waltman. Indeed, what makes this more interesting is the fact that Waltman himself did a similar interview not that long ago, and Chyna’s view on the porn film they made together certainly differs from that of Waltman.

Chyna said that she didn't want to be steam rolled into the whole thing because they had her sidelined. Howard asked who owns the name. Chyna said it was more of a bully power factor. She said if she got another job then there was a bully saying no. She said she can use the name now.

Howard asked if she's billed as Chyna in this new porno she did. Chyna said she is. Howard asked if she's doing this for the money or does she want to be a porn star. Chyna said she wanted to go to Florida and just enjoy herself. She said she's not broke but she lives on fumes. She said that she doesn't owe anyone anything. Chyna said that she wanted to hold out and not go work for just anyone. She said she has more self esteem than that. She said she was trying to figure it all out. Chyna said she was living off of her Playboy money for a while. Howard asked if she's the star of the neighborhood. She said she is. The September 2011 issue of Power Slam features an interview with Chyna, who discussed her brief fling with TNA Wrestling, departing from WWE in 2001, her experience with Vivid Entertainment, and more.

Chyna made her TNA debut at the May 3, 2011 iMPACT! taping as she was introduced by Spike TV network consultant Mick Foley. "The Hardcore Legend" introduced Chyna as Kurt Angle's business associate and tag team partner at Sacrifice, where they would face Jeff Jarrett and Karen Jarrett. During the taping she also participated in a battle royal, during which she eliminated Jeff. The former WWE Women's Champion explains how the partnership came out about.

"It was really odd because I got this phone call from them, totally out of the blue, asking if I wanted to get involved. I said, "Yes", and I was happy to go down there," she explains. "It all happened really fast. They called me, and I was on a plane the next day to Orlando."

Her stint with TNA lasted only two dates; she has not appeared for the organization since Sacrifice.

"What happened after Sacrifice was [TNA's] choice: I did the pay-per-view, I went home, and then I never heard from them again," she says.

During the June 6 episode of the Monday Night Mayhem podcast, Eric Bischoff said he was unhappy with TNA's decision to use Chyna at Sacrifice, adding that she had a "deer-in-the-headlights look" upon entering the ring. She was asked for comment on his remarks.

The relationship between Triple H, her former real-life boyfriend, and Stephanie McMahon (with whom Chyna claims he had an affair and then left her for), was a major factor in her departure from WWE in 2001. She left the promotion on November 30, 2001, several months after she had been removed from television. Jim Ross later claimed that she was not fired, but rather chose to leave for personal reasons. Chyna, however, says otherwise.

"Yeah, I wanted to stay. I was not expecting to get a fax that said, "You will not be needed anymore" when I was still on contract. That was a surprise," Chyna says. "They faxed me at the restaurant I was eating lunch at. That was the last time I heard from the WWF.

"It was horrible, it really was."

Calum Waddell, who conducted the interview, noted that she altered her physical appearance during her time with WWE, specifically her face. She responds, "I just wanted to have [the surgery]... My reasons are personal. It was all my decision."

Seven years after releasing her horrifying sex tape, Chyna made her triumphant return to the adult film industry this year in an extremely graphic pornographic film for Vivid Entertainment, Backdoor To Chyna. She comments on her affiliation with the adult video company.

"The thing I love about Vivid is that I have not had to sign my life away to work with them," she says. "They are the number one company in the world, and are really pushing for me to be successful in any way I can, and I like that."

The shoot interview series that has hosted visits from wrestling’s major provocateurs has seemingly been missing one of the women in the business who adequately fits that title. This glaring omission has transcended the wrestling business and not only continued to make splashes in the entertainment business, but she’s managed to stay a hot topic, on and off, without a booker or promoter’s help.

The first and only shoot-DVD series that can boast 100% fan content has announced Chyna will be filling that void on “YouShoot.” Producers Kayfabe Commentaries have officially begun taking submissions for the show today, as part of their “Summer of YouShoot.”

Chyna’s time away from WWE has been marked with controversial reality show appearances, a tumultuous relationship with “YouShoot” alumni Sean Waltman, and a foray into adult film. That flame was reignited by the release of her latest XXX film last month. It should seem onlfittingng that “YouShoot,” which has become a confessional for wrestling’s lightning rods, be her next stop.

LOS ANGELES—Vivid Entertainment is throwing a party Wed., June 22 to celebrate the successful debut of Chyna as a Vivid performer. The party, which will be hosted by new Vivid Girl Allie Haze, takes place at the Supperclub in Hollywood, Calif., and is open to the public.

Chyna is the only female in professional wrestling history to compete full time against men and emerge victorious with two WWF Intercontinental Championships. She will be joined Wednesday by Haze, who made headlines of her own recently at the Cannes Film Festival for her casting as the new Emmanuelle.

The party also is a celebration of the debut of Chyna’s first movie, Backdoor to Chyna, which is currently available only at Vivid.com, and will soon be in stores across the country.

The party starts at 10 p.m., and there will be an open bar from 10-11:30 p.m. Chyna and Allie will be posing for snapshots, signing autographs and mixing with guests while guest DJ Digital spins for an evening of erotic tension.
