CHYNA HOSPITAL UPDATE

The following comes from Chyna's manager Mr. Sato regarding health and status following her admittance into UCLA hospital.

"Thankfully, Chyna is feeling much better, but her admittance this morning to UCLA Medical Center was actually due to a bad reaction to Benadryl. Her hands were shaking after taking the medication, which prompted an ambulance being called. And her prognosis is good! She’s able to talk and walk and is feeling fine.”

Her manager would not specify how much she took, her manager did say he would release more information when she is discharged from the hospital.

CHYNA HOSPITALIZED!

Chyna was rushed to the UCLA Medical Center following an accidental medication overdose. Chyna over medicated on Benadryl. She has issues with sleeping at night and she took 4 to 5 times the prescribed amount yesterday to help her sleep -- and when she got up this morning she couldn't walk and started throwing up.

Chyna is still in the ER getting fluids through an IV. Chyna is alive but her condition is currently unknown.

UPDATE: Chyna is going to be fine. Alivingwonder.com is pleased to report that Chyna will be released from the hospital soon. This was simply a bad reaction to medication.

CHYNA IN GLOBE MAGAZINE

Chyna is featured in the newest issue of "Globe Magazine", the article talks about her recently getting bit on her leg by a spider...

"Wrestler-turned-actress and reality TV star CHYNA showed just how tough she is by cutting out a chunk of her leg to remove a poisonous spider bite.

The former fighter, real name Joan Laurer, had to perform the do-it-yourself surgery in her bathroom because she didn't have the funds to cover an emergency operation in hospital.

She tells the Globe magazine, "I went into the bathtub and cut it out. That's exactly what they would have done in the emergency room. It didn't hurt... My doctor says I have a very high pain tolerance."

But she was in so much pain as her leg swelled up after the bite she passed out and friends took her to see a doctor.

She adds, "I told him I couldn't afford it (emergency treatment) because I don't have health insurance. I said I was going to take out the poison myself."
