HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOANIE "CHYNA" LAURER

Happy Birthday to the one and only, legendary Ninth Wonder of the World Chyna! On screen she was a take charge, butt kicker who changed the face of sports entertainment and television forever. Off screen Joanie Laurer the woman was a kind, caring individual who loved her fans. She was a vegan and animal rights activist and will be remembered forever by the people who loved her.

Joanie Laurer made her debut in 1995 as a fitness competitor and belly dancer. She moved on to professional wrestling as Joanie Lee in the PGWA where she dominated women's wrestling. Shortly there after she would make her debut in the World Wrestling Federation as Chyna and would earn the nick name The 9th Wonder of the World. She changed the face of wrestling by being the only women to regularly fight the men, winning the Intercontinental title and years later would change Japanese wrestling by fighting men in New Japan Pro Wrestling!

After wrestling Chyna would go on to star in dozens of movies, television shows and posed for Playboy twice.
